I am glad to participate in the Cyberfair project. In the research process, I have learned a lot of knowledge, such as information use, interview design, data collection, etc. They are extremely useful. My team focused on traditional Chinese opera and explored the causes of the declination of modern traditional Chinese opera. Through this research, we invite more people to concern about and appreciate traditional Chinese opera.

After participating in the Cyberfair project, I learned not only a lot of knowledge, but also the teamwork with the members. I realize that it is a fact that traditional Chinese opera is declining and it is no longer the mainstream recreation for the public. We should support traditional Chinese opera and make efforts to restore it.

By participating in the Cyberfair project, I approached not only traditional Chinese opera, but also the teachers and actors. I obtained a lot of knowledge. With the members’ efforts, we successively accomplished the research content. Although it was not easy, it was worth it. By this learning, we acquired a lot and it was meaningful.

I have learned a lot by participating in the Cyberfair project. In learning process, I learned how to construct web page and use information software. It reinforced my information competence. Besides, I experienced the visit and interview which cannot be learned from normal classes.

In order to learn more about traditional Chinese opera, we not only used internet and books, but also visited and interviewed National Taiwan College of Performing Arts and Taiwan Peking and Kunqu Opera Troupe; through design of questionnaire survey, we analyzed the people’s views towards traditional Chinese opera.We thus obtained direct data of traditional Chinese opera and successively accomplished the content of the Cyberfair project. During this period, thanks to the teachers’ instruction,we obtained a lot of precious knowledge.

After visit, we reorganized all records and thoughts on web page for this project. I recognized the hard work of the artists. With their persistence and passion, Kunqu Opera is thus spread.

I was not familiar with Kunqu Opera before and did not care about it. However, after participating in the Cyberfair project, I approached Kunqu Opera and recognized the importance to protect and pass on Kunqu Opera culture. Thus, we invite more audiences to walk in the theatre to experience the charm of Kunqu Opera and we intend to promote Kunqu Opera to the schools and communities to introduce it to more people.

Kunqu Opera is unique with various costumes,stage properties, makeup and musical instruments as well as the actors’ performance skills. After approaching Kunqu Opera, I discovered the rich culture. The experience was unforgettable.

I am glad to participate in the Cyberfair project. I approached Taiwan Peking and Kunqu Opera Troupe as well as the actors of Kunqu Opera. Besides, I realized that it is not easy to become a successful actor. It takes time to practice and they are committed to pass on the culture. After this project, we have acquired a lot and it was meaningful learning.

I am honored to participate in the Cyberfair project. In the team, I learned to investigate, interview, search for information and construct web page. The topic aims to explore the history and characteristics of Kunqu Opera, causes of declination and the public views toward traditional Chinese opera. After the learning, I pay more attention to traditional Chinese opera and I concern about the development of traditional Chinese opera.
